Search for a customer

When to use this procedure

Follow the steps below to search for a customer. Most often you would need to do this during another transaction, such as a new sales invoice, when the Pick Customer window displays. The following steps will walk you through this processes.

Steps to complete

  1. On the Pick Customer window, click Adv Search. The Customer Search window displays.
  2. Enter your search criteria in any one of the search boxes.
  3. Press Enter on your keyboard. The grid at the bottom of the window displays with any matching results.
  4. Highlight the customer you want in the grid and click OK. The next page in your workflow displays and is automatically populated with information for the customer you selected.

Alternatively, you can directly access the Customer Search window by selecting Customer, then Customer Search from the Modules menu.
